Meet Our Attorneys

James C. Hoye

Attorney & Founding Partner

Attorney Hoye focuses his practice primarily in residential real estate on behalf of Buyers, Sellers and Lenders. He has been involved in thousands of real estate closings. Before joining Thomas F. Williams & Associates, P.C. Mr. Hoye was employed by Boston Title Services as a title examiner and residential real estate closing Attorney.

Attorney Hoye is a 1994 cum laude graduate of Providence College with a major in Mathematics. He is also a cum laude graduate of Suffolk University Law School. While at Suffolk Law School, he was a member of the Moot Court Board.

Jim is a resident of Taunton, MA where he lives with his wife Jennifer and their three children; Jimmy, Abigail and Joey.

Jon E. Duane

Attorney & Founding Partner

Jon’s practice has focused on real estate conveyancing for nineteen years and he has represented countless buyers and sellers, and closed thousands of loans for banks.

Attorney Duane enjoys working with first time home buyers and investors and has the special ability to resolve title issues. He was the Founder/Owner of Mortgage Discharge Services, Inc., a company that specialized in resolving complex mortgage discharge related issues.

Jon is a frequent host of WATD Radio Show “Sound Advice” with Thomas Williams, aired Saturdays from 11AM to Noon on WATD 95.9 in Marshfield. In addition to being a licensed attorney he is a licensed real estate broker. Jon is also a board member for the Scituate Housing Authority.

Jon is a fourth-generation resident of Scituate, and a former commercial fisherman who went on to graduate from the University of Delaware and Suffolk Law. When he’s not in the office, Jon is dedicated to family life with his wife Danielle and their five boys; Danny, Will, Jack, George and Joey.

Staci Cerrato

Attorney

Staci has been employed with Hoye & Duane since the firm began. She is a graduate of Boston College Law School and has over 30 years of legal experience, primarily focused on residential real estate closings. Staci takes pride in communicating with clients and ensuring transactions are run smoothly and efficiently. She is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, Rhode Island & New York.

Staci is a member of the Real Estate Bar Association, the Taunton Area Chamber of Commerce, the Cranberry Country Chamber of Commerce, the Realtor Association of Southeastern Massachusetts, and South Shore Realtors, Inc. She lives in Raynham with her family. In her free time, Staci enjoys cooking, reading, spending time with her family, and taking long walks with her two dogs, Dunkin and Marylou.
